The NBII Wildlife Disease Information Node (WDIN), the people who bring you the Wildlife Disease News Digest, are trying something new for its Friday posts. An on-line course presentation is in the spotlight this week. The USGS National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) presented a 90-min seminar entitled ‘Avian Zoonotic Diseases: Work Smart, Stay Safe’. This seminar provides information on potential risks and biosafety measures for handling avian species. (Note: You will hear the presenters for a few seconds before the presentation is visible)
