WDA-Australasia / Wildlife Society of the NZVA, December 10 - 16, 2009, Catlins, New Zealand
The Australasian Section Wildlife Disease Association (WDA) and Wildlife Society of the New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) combined conference will be held during 10 – 16 December 2009 in the Catlins, South Otago, New Zealand.
Everyone is encouraged to present a talk on anything related to wildlife health - e.g. wildlife disease, biology, ecology, management, whether cutting edge science, case studies or interesting stories. Proceedings are produced at each meeting.
In addition to the scientific programme there are field trips, bush walks, and a friendly atmosphere that encourages the sharing of knowledge and ideas.
The first three days will have a strong New Zealand focus in line with the Wildlife Society’s past programmes, with a broader Australasian focus for the remainder of the programme.
