New Features!

In redesigning the look of the Digest, we've also added some new features. So please take a moment to look around:


Topic Frequency List: This display method allows you to have a quick overview of both the topics and their frequency. Each day's list of news snippets are now being labeled topically and those labels are displayed in a Label Cloud on the green sidebar. This Label Cloud displays a list of all of the topics we've labeled, as well as assigning them a font size based on how frequently the label is used. Topics that are reported on frequently, such as Rabies, then end up being displayed in a bigger font than the other labels.





Wildlife Disease News Map: Okay, so this feature isn't exactly new, but it is another great way to look at the news. If you haven't taken a moment to look at it, now's a great time to check it out.






WDIN's Electronic Library - New Additions: This section uses one of our RSS feeds to display the lastest resources added to the WDIN website and it's a great way to keep an eye on all the great source material that we have been accumulating relating to wildlife disease.





Get this News Delivered Via Email: We've added a new feature where you can sign up to get the exact same news that gets posted to the digest via email in three easy steps. If it's easier to have the news delivered to you (rather than having to remember to come to the site) consider signing up for this service. We also offer a weekly summary, if you prefer not to get too much clutter in your inbox.
