In the Spotlight - Upcoming Wildlife Health Related Meetings

3rd International Berlin Bat Meeting: Bats in the Anthropocene
March 1 - March 3, 2013
Berlin, Germany

The aim of this conference is to foster an exchange of ideas among international specialists working on bats that live in landscapes formed by humans over the past hundreds and thousands of years, i.e. the Anthropocene.

We are especially keen on crossing disciplinary boundaries and hope that the discussion among ecologists, physiologists, conservationists, veterinarians and medical doctors will advance the field substantially.

We suggest several exciting topics as sessions or workshops. In addition, we have invited plenary speakers to review controversial and exciting developments in their respective research areas.

Starting with a Basic Day, Master Classes and Practical Labs, the conference offers both, practical information for beginners in the field as well as for experienced veterinarians. This portion of the conference is followed by scientific sessions reporting the latest developments in the field, as well as providing case and experience reports for the practitioner.
