59th Annual WDA Meeting

May 30 - June 4, 2010Iguazú, Argentina

For the first time, the Wildlife Disease Association (WDA) International Meeting will take place in South America. The 59th annual meeting will be held 30 May – 4 June 2010 in the heart of Iguazú Falls.

This year’s theme is Ecosystem health in the neotropics: a growing challenge.

Who should attend and/or submit abstracts?

Wildlife biologists, wildlife managers, veterinarians, epidemiologists, ecologists, parasitologists, pathologists, microbiologists, or anyone interested in the management of wildlife health.

Tentative Program

  • Sunday: Welcome cocktail and student mixer.
  • Monday: Oral presentations, poster session and picnic.
  • Tuesday: Student presentations, poster session and auction.
  • Wednesday: Presentations (morning) and field trip (afternoon).
  • Thursday: Presentations and banquet.
  • Friday: Symposium and Special Sessions in the morning.
